OUR STORY
Secretly Giving Back can be traced back to December 23, 2002 when Laurie Dutcher discovered that a single mother in her community was struggling. Basic needs could not be met, let alone a holiday celebration. With Christmas on an hourly countdown, Laurie scrolled through her phone reaching out to many of her friends for donations.
Thanks to their support a last minute Christmas was delivered and Secretly Santa was born. Throughout the year, our generous supporters, amazing volunteers, committed corporate and local partners have grown SGB from one small action of kindness to impacting more than 350,000 people’s lives throughout the world.
We are privileged, so many people have allowed us into their lives to provide support where needed. It is never easy to ask or receive help and that’s why you are….Our Best Kept Secret.
